Network of competition organizers

The Apps for Europe consortium currently consists of over 20 organization throughout Europe working on open data events, competitions and hackathons. Together we will be organizing over 20 events in the next two years focussed on showing the potential of open data and showcasing the great services and businesses that emerge from this development.

What is a Business Lounge

The objective of the Business Lounge is to increase the number of projects moving from an app concept or prototype phase into a business start-up within already existing apps competitions. Business Lounges can be connected to existing competitions and hackathons across Europe.

Are you a competition organizer, involved in open data events or in some other ways interested in applications emerging from open data, then we invite you to contact us. We can help you setup a Business Lounge at your own event and connect to the (local) investor community.
